Firefighters tackle underground car park blaze in Camden

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to a fire in Camden this morning.

According to London Fire Brigade the blaze broke out in an underground car park in Pratt Street.

Crews from Kentish Town, Euston and Paddington fire stations were on the scene after the Brigade was called at 10.20am.

It took firefighters about 40 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

A fire brigade spokesman said: “One vehicle and a part of the building have been damaged.”

The cause is not known at this stage.
