Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman is set to take the plunge and open Parliament Hill’s annual December Dip.
Hundreds of intrepid swimmers are expected to flock to the outdoor swimming pool in Gordon House Road, Highgate, where they will brave the freezing waters for the popular seasonal swim.
Inspiring speakers, steaming hot food and a full brass band will accompany the daring dip.
The swim will take place on December 3 from 11am until 1pm.
