Teenager charged with attempted murder of man in West Hampstead

An 18-year-old has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the assault of a 60-year-old man in West Hampstead.

The man was found lying unconscious with a head injury in Goldhurst Terrace, West Hampstead, at 4pm last Thursday (November 29).

He was taken to a hospital in central London and his condition remains critical.

Tim Sommer, of no fixed address, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder on Monday (December 3).

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Blackfriars Crown Court in February next year.
