Do you know this man? Detectives from British Transport Police’s sexual offences unit are appealing for information after a teenager was subjected to indecent behaviour on an Overground train.

It happened on board a service between Camden Road and Caledonian Road and Barnsbury on Monday, May 15. At 11.20am a 17-year-old girl was on the train, heading eastbound. As it departed Camden Road, she noticed an elderly man sitting opposite her.

During the journey, he touched himself inappropriately while staring at the girl. The victim was left frightened by the man’s actions. He then left as it arrived at Caledonian Road and Barnsbury.

Officers want to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV still.

Anyone with information is asked to call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 1700032980. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
