Police have cordoned off the area around the JW3 Jewish community centre in Finchley Road after reports of a suspect package

A police explosives squad is investigating a suspect package found at JW3 Jewish community centre in Finchley Road this morning.

Officers are onsite after the package was reported to police at 10.15am.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman confirmed the matter has now been dealt with.

Northbound lanes of the Finchley Road have been closed to traffic between the O2 Centre and West End Lane
