A charity has offered a £2,000 reward for information into the theft of presents for seriously ill children from Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Crimestoppers has put up the cash prize for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the callous crime.

Around 30 presents were snatched from the children’s hospital between Friday and Monday (December 17). Officers are now reviewing CCTV footage from the scene.

It has been established that the presents were not wrapped, but may have been taken from the hospital in Christmas sacks.
