Bank holiday barbecue fire in Highgate

A bank holiday barbecue ended in disaster after a blaze broke out at a Highgate home on Saturday.
Fire crews rushed to the scene after a barbecue caught alight just after 8pm in the back garden of a house in Highgate Close.
It took 15 firefighters from Hornsey and Kentish Town Fire Stations about three hours to tackle the flames as the crew had to cool a gas cylinder, which could potentially cause a much larger and more dangerous blaze if left exposed to heat.
No-one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
