It is open from 8am until 4pm from Monday to Friday, and 9am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

2. Colonnade Cafe in Highgate Cemetery

Highgate Cemetery, which contains the burial site of Karl Marx and his wife Jenny von Westphalen, is an iconic attraction and historic space.

Within it sits Colonnade Cafe where you can enjoy a tea or coffee after strolling through the cemetery.

The cafe is just 1.2 miles from Hampstead Heath, another beautiful nature spot.

3. Jan's Coffee & Eatery

Jan's on Highgate Hill offers more traditional cafe fare and is known for its friendly service and great food.

Prices are reasonable, according to several Google reviewers, and a range of drinks can be enjoyed, from chai lattes to hot chocolates.

This cafe is typically open from 7am until 4.30pm, but is closed on Sundays.

4. Crick's Corner

Crick's Corner is a frequent pit stop on the way to Hampstead Heath and is always busy on weekends.

Despite being small inside, there are many spaces for people to enjoy on the street and people are often seen socialising on adjoining Bickerton Road.

The cafe is dog and child-friendly.

5. Vanilla Cafe

Vanilla Cafe, known for its brunch options, has been praised as a "delight" by a reviewer.

Tomasz said on Google that it has delicious bread and croissants that are made from scratch.

It also offers small cakes for people to enjoy with a hot coffee - ideal as the colder autumn weather approaches.
