San Carlo - the Highgate Stalwart is back San Carlo is celebrating a year under it's new owner, Gail Ganney, and there is plenty to celebrate! With thousands of guests, new and old, over the past 12 months and over 30 functions celebrated, we can safely say that Highgate once again has a magnificent and multi-faceted venue.

The interior is relaxed and trendy by day with warm colours alongside opulent chandeliers and fine linen. At night the mood changes, as the lights are dimmed and candles are lit to form a very intimate and stylish venue.

Diners are welcome weekdays from noon and on Saturday and Sunday, Brunch is served from 10.30am onwards.

However, if you just fancy a glass of champagne, or a fresh mint tea, the friendly bar staff will be on hand to take your order.

Dinner is served from 5.30pm onwards and Head Chef Nicholas Contrastin has created a menu that will surely delight the taste buds. As an evening venue, the atmosphere takes on a more intimate feel for elegant dining.

STUNNING REFURBISHMENT Following a New Year refurbishment and re-positioning of the bar, there are now two distinct areas to the restaurant, the conservatory and garden and the main dining area. This affords a fabulous opportunity for semi-private dining or a full-blown party encompassing the whole restaurant. San Carlo is now making its name as one of the premier venues in North London for private functions. The ambience creates an unforgettable experience for that special function.

The facilities and space offer the opportunity for functions for up to 200 people.

LIVE MUSIC Having obtained a full entertainment licence San Carlo can offer a variety of high class live music. On THURSDAYS the resident pianist GRAHAM PETERS plays his wonderful music from Film, Musicals and Jazz through to modern day standards. FRIDAY NIGHTS showcase the stunning Brazilian duo, Mel and Ricardo, on guitar and vocals, providing an exquisite backdrop to dinner with beautiful and mellow Latin American jazz. SUNDAY LUNCH is a sell-out with traditional roast plus a la carte, family atmosphere and ALEX and TERRY on piano and double bass playing all the popular jazz. Booking is highly recommended.
