Bodega de Tapas Situated in the heart of Camden and close to the worldfamous market, BODs, as we affectionately call it, is a vibrant and friendly bar that resonates with the influences of Spanish architectural styles, colours and textures.
It also boasts a cellar of the finest Spanish wines, sherries and beers and a unique and delicious menu of seasonally changing tapas.
Kelly, trained in some of the world's best kitchens.
Before joining us he worked at the Dorchester, the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok as well as head chef of Marco Pierre White's Quayside restaurant, but it was as head chef at the 2 Michelin star Girasol near Valencia in Spain, where he perfected the authentic Spanish tapas recipes we serve today.
Eating tapas is a different experience from other meals.
With tapas you choose several small plates from a wide range of dishes and eat as much or as little as you fancy.
Tapas is great for sharing so it is perfect whether it be for a romantic meal with a loved one or a fun get together with friends.
If good wine is what you like then you can choose from an impressive cellar of Spanish wines.
We spent over 8 months carefully selecting only single estate wines that are available by the glass or the bottle.
All our wines are from low yielding family run producers so the quality and value for money are exceptionally high and you won't find them on supermarket shelves.
To compliment our wine list we also serve some great premium brand cocktails such as Mojito using the same recipe as the original Cuban social club from over 50 years ago.
But a real favourite is our Bloody Mary made from our own recipe including fresh tomatoes from the kitchen.
It really is to die for! However, if you would like something more refreshing then we have imported a wide range of Spanish beers including draught Cruzcampo, Spain's No.1 brew from Seville.
Bodega de Tapas has a really friendly atmosphere and is a great place to meet friends.
Whether it be for an after work or pre-gig drink in our lively downstairs bar or a relaxed meal in our upstairs 'cantina' where you can watch Kelly and his team in the kitchen, we promise you won't be disappointed.
We aim to deliver quality in our food, drink and surroundings and to quote our chef "good food shouldn't cost the earth but it must be freshly prepared with care and skill".

Signature dishes:
- Crispy caramelized pork belly marinated in Moroccan spices and cooked slowly for 24 hours before being finish on our chargrill with orange blossom honey. £4.50
- Paella crab cake, made the traditional way but with a twist, stuffed in the middle with a crab butter before being panfried in garlic butter. £4.50
- Our chargrilled Squid is cooked whole in the traditional Catalan way with garlic lemon but with a modern edge, we serve it with a chilled spicy Bloody Mary jelly. £5.00
