Belsize health guru guilty of rape and sexual assault
editorial@hamhigh.co.uk
23 July 2010
A SELF-STYLED health guru from Belsize Park charged with seven counts of rape and sexual assault has been found guilty today of two charges.
After a three month trial at Wood Green Crown Court, Michael Lyons, also known as Mohan Singh, has been found guilty of one charge of rape and another charge of sexual assault by penetration.
The jury found Lyons, formerly of Belsize Park and St John's Wood, not guilty of three counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.
The two further charges of rape and sexual assault by touching are still being deliberated on with a verdict expected on Monday.
