POLICE are searching for a missing toddler they fear has been abducted by her father and grandmother.
 | | Nikolai Lyustiger |
On Friday Natalija Lyustiger, 25, left her two-year-old daughter Lillian with her estranged husband Nikolai and has not seen her since.
Mr Lyustiger, 34, is an international businessman who divides his time between Russia and the USA.
On Tuesday the High Court issued a warrant for his arrest amid fears he had already left the country with the young girl, who lives in Belsize Park.
A distraught Mrs Lyustiger said: "Lillian has never spent a night away from her mother before. I am terribly worried about her.
"She must be upset, confused and distressed. My fear is that she is being smuggled out of the country, possibly to Russia.
"Her surroundings will seem strange to her. She should be at home with me in London."
Mrs Lyustiger said her husband was with his mother Liba Cohn, 59, when she dropped her daughter off at 9am on November 4.
She feared the worst when her daughter was not returned home at the agreed time.
Police have put out an all ports alert for both Mr Lyustiger and Mrs Cohn, but suspect they have already fled to Russia or California, where Mr Lyustiger has business interests.
Mrs Lyustiger's solicitor Julian Ribet, of Levison Meltzer Pigott, said: "The police are urgently seeking information as to their current whereabouts including where they have been staying over the course of the last week and in particular information as to their movements."
Lillian has a fair complexion, dark blonde collar-length hair and blue eyes.
When she disappeared she was wearing a long-sleeved grey top with Mickey Mouse on the front, pink ankle boots, red dungarees, a pink padded jacket and hat.
A spokesman for the Met Police said: "The MPS is aware that the High Court has issued a collection order in respect of two-year-old Lillian Sarah Lyustiger who is the subject of a court order and is seeking information as to her whereabouts."
o Anyone with information regarding Lillian's whereabouts should contact the Metropolitan Police specialist crime directorate on 020-7230 6855.
