Solo
TUCKED away on the far end of Inverness Street is the little gemaway from the tourist hustle and bustle of Camden High Street.
A haunt of locals Solo has the feel of a Mediterranean resort restaurant with quaint artefacts throughout the venue.
Brunch and breakfast is served from 8.30am The French toast with crispy bacon, lashings of maple syrup, mascarpone and fresh berries is the ultimate hangover cure.
The a la carte menu available from 5pm is an inspiration and very well priced.
Main courses are hefty, well prepared and presented.
Seabass fillet on a bed of orange braised fennel and Honey Mustard Glazed Pork Medallions were our favourites.
For desserts, do not miss Glazed Drunken Cherry Madeira Cake.
Mouth watering!!! The bar area at the front is almost always filled in the early hours of the evening with people sipping cocktails.
If all that isn't enough, Solo even has a basement lounge bar.
"Undersolo" this bar was opened by Amy Winehouse.
