OFTEN described as ‘ North London's best kept secret', the 2 AA Rosette Fringe at Hendon Hall is in the heart of urban North London and yet set in it's own two acres of landscaped grounds, making it very difficult to believe you are only a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The contemporary décor with deep red walls, the warm glow of candles on each table and the deep-cushioned high-backed chairs invite you to relax and enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere, whilst enjoying some of the best food North London has to offer.

Whether you are looking for a family celebration, a romantic dinner a deux or a fabulous Sunday lunch Fringe is the perfect choice for any occasion.

And, when the weather is warm, enjoy a taste of the alfresco on the Terrace overlooking the stunning gardens where light meals, afternoon teas and drinks are served throughout the day.

Award-winning Head Chef Paul Sage has created a menu that is sure to surprise and delight with its homecooked, seasonal dishes expertly executed by Paul and his brigade.

Paul commented ‘a good meal is about balance with all the flavours and textures complementing each other' and this can certainly be seen throughout the well-balanced menu.

The best quality, locally-sourced ingredients are intrinsic to a menu that draws on modern European influences to set your tastebuds tingling.

Try the grilled fillet of mackerel with gooseberry compote to start, and the mini rack of Cornish lamb with rosemary fondant and spinach puree is a firm favourite.

Dessert heaven awaits in the form of the home-cooked banoffee pie - pure meltin- the-mouth indulgence.

The Fringe wine cellar is a treasure-trove of personally selected yet unstuffy and affordable wines from the four corners of the world.

Each dish has a recommended wine from some of the finest wine growers in the world, which complement your meal perfectly.

The experience doesn't have to end when the plates are cleared away - Hendon Hall also boasts the stylish and vibrant Den Bar, serving some of the best cocktails in North London.

Perfect for a pre-dinner drink, an evening out with friends or to relax after your meal in Fringe, once you are ensconced on one of the Den's oh-so-comfy leather sofas it's almost impossible to leave.
